God\u2019s love is unending\u2026he never stops loving me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When did you first hear the incredible news that God loves\nyou? I heard it as a small child, and when I was seven years old, John 3:16 led\nme to a decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten\nSon, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting\nlife (KJV).\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I invited Jesus into my heart to be my Savior and Lord,\nguaranteeing me a home in heaven for eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Growing up, I read my Bible faithfully, loved Jesus, and\nwanted to please him. That was easy as I learned more about his immeasurable,\ninexhaustible love for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many of his followers encounter a time of questioning his\nlove. Mine came after I\u2019d experienced enough life to discover perfection was\nbeyond my ability. It happened right in the middle of my dream of being the\nperfect mother. In my dream I\u2019d expected to be patient and kind. My reality was\nthe opposite\u2014impatient and angry with myself for being impatient.\nDiscouragement overwhelmed me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Outwardly I appeared happy, but inwardly I was a tangled\nmess\u2014full of worry and fear, anger, bitterness, and insecurity. I felt like a failure\nas a mother and a Christian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God must have told a friend about my despair. In my dark\nmoment, the phone rang. After I poured out my hopelessness, she spoke\nlife-changing words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGod can never love you more than he loves you right now, and\nhe can never love you less because he loves you as much as he can possibly love\nyou.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\nGod can never love you more than he loves you right now, and he can never love you less because he loves you as much as he can possibly love you. <\/a><\/span>Click To Tweet<\/a><\/span>\n\n\n\n Drying my tears, I lived in that truth. God\u2019s love is unending. He doesn\u2019t love me because of behavior. He loves me because I\u2019m his child. He never stops loving me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The more I learned about God\u2019s love, the more joy and peace\nflooded my life. Do you need reassurance of his unending love?<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore\nwith lovingkindness have I drawn thee\u201d (Jeremiah 31:3 KJV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYour love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your\nfaithfulness to the skies\u2026How priceless is your unfailing love! Both high and\nlow among men find refuge in the shadow of your wings\u201d (Psalm 36:5, 7).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope\nin his unfailing love\u201d (Psalm 147:11).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one\nand only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love; not\nthat we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning\nsacrifice for our sins\u2026And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God\nis love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him\u201d (1 John 4:9, 10,\n16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBe imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children\nand live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as\na fragrant offering and sacrifice to God\u201d (Ephesians 5:2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n What more could God do to prove his love? This cinched it\nfor me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2018Though the mountains\nbe shaken and the hills be removed,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n yet my unfailing love\nfor you will not be shaken<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n nor my covenant of\npeace be removed,\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n says the Lord, who has\ncompassion on you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Isaiah 54:10<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nThough the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you (Is. 54:10). <\/a><\/span>Click To Tweet<\/a><\/span>\n\n\n\n What an amazing day when I learned God\u2019s love is unending\u2026he never stops loving me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And then I found out the Lord had chosen me for a purpose!\nBut that\u2019s a story for another day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Would you tell me about a time when you grappled with feelings\nquestioning God\u2019s love?
