I am\nyour hope. You have not lost me.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our\nGod hears! And he cares. His assurance brought change\u2014not in the circumstances\nbut in my perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God <em>is<\/em> my hope. Therefore losing hope is impossible because I can never lose him. His indwelling presence is a fact. And I am secure in that truth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<span class='bctt-click-to-tweet'><span class='bctt-ctt-text'><a href='https:\/\/twitter.com\/intent\/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwp.me%2Fp9m6jT-ji&#038;text=When%20I%20feel%20I%27ve%20lost%20all%20hope%2C%20I%20remember.%20God%20is%20my%20hope.%20Losing%20hope%20is%20impossible%20because%20I%20can%20%20never%20lose%20him.&#038;via=DianneBarker12&#038;related=DianneBarker12' target='_blank'rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">When I feel I&#039;ve lost all hope, I remember. God is my hope. Many around us\u2014and many before us\u2014have known that hopeless\nfeeling, expressed succinctly by Job in his affliction: \u201cWhat strength do I\nhave, that I should still hope?\u201d (Job 6:11 NIV). \u201cMy days are swifter than a\nweaver\u2019s shuttle, and they come to an end without hope\u201d (Job 7:6-7 NIV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Throughout the Psalms we\nfind reassurance of the source of our hope.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor you have been my hope, O Sovereign Lord God, my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on you; You brought me forth from my mother\u2019s womb. I will ever praise you\u201d (Psalm 71:5-6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God&#8221; (Psalm 42:11).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hope involves waiting. \u201cI wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope\u201d (Psalm 130:5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The prophet Jeremiah penned these\namazing words.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Yet this I call to my mind, and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord\u2019s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, &#8216;The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.&#8217; The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord\u201d (Lamentations 3:21-26 KJV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you running low on hope?\nAs long as circumstances offer any hope, we will not hope in God. Are you\nthere?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Hear the words of Apostle Paul to\nTimothy:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026we\nhave put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially\nof those who believe\u201d (1 Timothy 4:10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Years have passed since the day I felt I\u2019d lost all hope. I don\u2019t remember the circumstance. But I\u2019ll never forget the Lord\u2019s words to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>You have not lost hope. I am\nyour hope. Be strong\nand take heart, all you who hope in the Lord\u201d (Psalm 31:24).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Lord delights in those\nwho fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love\u201d (Psalm 147:11).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBlessed is he whose help is\nthe God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the Maker of heaven and\nearth, the sea, and everything in them\u2014the Lord, who remains faithful forever\u201d (Psalm\n146:5-6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut as for me, I will\nalways have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your\nrighteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. I\nwill come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your\nrighteousness, yours alone\u201d (Psalm 71:14-16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMay\nyour unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord; even as we put our hope in&nbsp; you\u201d (Psalm 33:22).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you ever felt hopeless?\nPlease tell me about that and how God brought you through it.
