I am your hope. You have not lost me.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our God hears! And he cares. His assurance brought change\u2014not in the circumstances but in my perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God <em>is<\/em> my hope. Therefore losing hope is impossible because I can never lose him. His indwelling presence is a fact. And I am secure in that truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class='bctt-click-to-tweet'><span class='bctt-ctt-text'><a href='https:\/\/twitter.com\/intent\/tweet?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwp.me%2Fp9m6jT-oB&#038;text=God%20is%20my%20hope.%20Therefore%20losing%20hope%20is%20impossible%20because%20I%20can%20never%20lose%20him.%20His%20indwelling%20presence%20is%20a%20fact.%20And%20I%20am%20secure%20in%20that%20truth.&#038;via=DianneBarker12&#038;related=DianneBarker12' target='_blank'rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">God is my hope. Many around us\u2014and many before us\u2014have known that hopeless feeling, expressed succinctly by Job in his affliction: \u201cWhat strength do I have, that I should still hope?\u201d (Job 6:11 NIV). \u201cMy days are swifter than a weaver\u2019s shuttle, and they come to an end without hope\u201d (Job 7:6-7 NIV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the Psalms we find reassurance of the source of our hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhy are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God\u201d (Psalm 42:11).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFor you have been my hope, O Sovereign Lord God, my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on you; You brought me forth from my mother\u2019s womb. I will ever praise you\u201d (Psalm 71:5-6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cI wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope\u201d (Psalm 130:5).<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prophet Jeremiah penned these amazing words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord\u2019s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord\u201d (Lamentations 3:21-26 KJV).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you running low on hope? As long as circumstances offer any hope, we will not hope in God. Are you there?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hear the words of Apostle Paul to Timothy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe\u201d (1 Timothy 4:10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Years have passed since the day I thought I\u2019d lost all hope. I don\u2019t remember the circumstance. But I\u2019ll never forget the Lord\u2019s words to me. <em>You have not lost hope. I am your hope. The Lord preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord\u201d (Psalm 31:24).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love\u201d (Psalm 147:11).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBlessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them\u2014the Lord, who remains faithful forever\u201d (Psalm 146:5-6).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBut as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone\u201d (Psalm 71:14-16).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMay your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord; even as we put our hope in&nbsp; you\u201d (Psalm 33:22).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have you ever felt hopeless?
