Refrigerator Slaw<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Thinly slice and place in large bowl:<\/h3>\n

1 large head cabbage<\/h3>\n

1 large onion<\/h3>\n

1 or 2 green peppers<\/h3>\n

Sprinkle over vegetables:<\/h3>\n

1 cup sugar<\/h3>\n

1 T. salt<\/h3>\n

1\/2 to 1 tablespoon celery seed<\/h3>\n

Heat to boiling:<\/h3>\n

1 cup vinegar<\/h3>\n

3\/4 cup vegetable oil<\/h3>\n

Pour over vegetables. Cover; refrigerate eight hours, tossing occasionally.<\/h3>\n
